    Last week B of A announced a fantastic new policy in their short sale processing.  Instead of immediately closing a file when a buyer walked they announced that they would accept back-up contracts.  The B of A announcement can be found HERE .

    Unfortunately it appears that they did not notify their own loss mitigation department!
